US Comoé 2-4 ASF Bobo Dioulasso — ASF Bobo Dioulasso produced one of the standout attacking displays of the Burkina Faso Division 1 weekend, scoring four times away from home in a thrilling 4-2 victory over US Comoé.

Match Overview

The game began at a frenetic pace and never really settled. ASF Bobo Dioulasso's front line pressed aggressively from the first whistle, forcing US Comoé into rushed clearances and turnovers in dangerous areas. The visitors were rewarded for that approach and by the interval had established a cushion the hosts would never fully erase.

US Comoé, to their credit, refused to fold. They pulled goals back at important moments and produced spells of sustained pressure, but each time they threatened to build momentum, the visitors found another answer.

Key Moments

• Early breakthrough — ASF's high press forced a mistake and the opening goal followed from a low finish.
• Quickfire salvo — Two further goals in quick succession put the visitors firmly in control before half-time.
• Comoé's response — A well-taken goal before the break gave the home side a lifeline.
• The decisive fourth — A clinical counter-attack restored the visitors' advantage after Comoé had briefly threatened.
• Late consolation — Comoé's second goal gave the scoreline a little respectability but not the points.

Tactical Story

ASF Bobo Dioulasso's success was built on transition speed. They defended in a mid-block, invited pressure and then attacked with numbers through the channels, catching US Comoé's full-backs repeatedly out of position. Their finishing, too, was ruthless — very nearly every shot on target threatened the home goal.

US Comoé's difficulties were structural as much as individual. Their midfield struggled to protect the back line, and the gap between defence and attack grew wider as the game opened up. Their own attacking play was bright, especially down the right, but the balance of the team was never right after conceding early.

What It Means

The three points lift ASF Bobo Dioulasso's confidence and underline their credentials as one of the league's more dangerous sides — a team whose away form could prove decisive in a long Division 1 campaign. For US Comoé, the result is a warning about the cost of defensive lapses at this level; their attacking threat is real, but matches cannot be won purely on the front foot.

Both sides return to league action shortly, with ASF looking to build momentum and Comoé determined to tighten up at the back.
