Tactical Story

Oberwart started in a 4-4-2 but switched to a more attacking 4-3-3 in the second half, pushing their full-backs higher. This change overwhelmed Parndorf, who had defended deep. The introduction of Zsifkovits from the bench proved decisive, adding creativity and pace. Parndorf's 5-3-2 could not cope with the increased pressure.

The home side's midfield began to win the second balls, and their wingers started to get in behind the defence. Parndorf's manager made defensive substitutions, but they only invited more pressure. Oberwart's persistence paid off with two goals in the final 25 minutes.

Standout Players

Thomas Weber was the hero with two goals, while Philipp Zsifkovits changed the game after coming on. In defence, Michael Pichler made several crucial interceptions to snuff out Parndorf's counters. For Parndorf, Vukovic was lively but faded after the break.

Season Impact

The three points lift Oberwart into mid-table security and extend their unbeaten home run. Parndorf remain in the lower half and will be concerned about their second-half collapses. This result could be a turning point for Oberwart's season, giving them confidence for the challenges ahead.
