Tactical story

FV Austria XIII’s midfield control was the difference. They circulated the ball intelligently, drew First Vienna forward, and then exploited the space behind the press. The back four stayed disciplined, with the full-backs balancing attacking support and defensive responsibility.

First Vienna 1894 Amateur showed energy and commitment but lacked a cutting edge in the final third. Their best moments came from set pieces, yet the final ball was often hurried. As they pushed for an equaliser, FV Austria XIII’s second goal arrived at the perfect time to kill the contest.

Standout performers

The FV Austria XIII centre-forward was influential, scoring the opener and occupying both centre-backs. The midfield anchor protected the defence effectively and started several attacks, while the goalkeeper handled crosses confidently. For First Vienna, the left winger was their most lively outlet, but clear chances were rare.

League impact

The win gives FV Austria XIII valuable momentum in the Landesliga and reinforces their home record. A clean sheet will be especially pleasing for the coaching staff, as it showed the team can defend a lead with maturity. First Vienna 1894 Amateur will need to find more creativity in attack as they prepare for their next fixture.
