Tactical Story

Altach/Vorderland Women lined up in a 4-3-3 and used their wide players to stretch First Vienna's defense. Their high pressing prevented the visitors from building from the back, and they won the ball back quickly in dangerous areas. First Vienna attempted to sit deep and counter, but their isolation of the striker made it easy for the home defense to snuff out any threat. The tactical battle was one-sided, with Altach/Vorderland's midfield trio dictating proceedings.

Standout Players

The Altach/Vorderland forward line was in devastating form, with two players scoring and another providing two assists. The midfield anchor was also impressive, breaking up play and starting attacks. For First Vienna, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, but she was left exposed by her defense.

Table Impact

This emphatic win strengthens Altach/Vorderland's position near the top of the Austrian Frauen Bundesliga table, keeping them in the title race. First Vienna Women remain in the lower half, and they will need to regroup quickly to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.

What’s Next

Altach/Vorderland will aim to carry this momentum into their next fixture, while First Vienna face a crucial home game where they must show a much-improved defensive display.
