Match Report: Balcatta FC vs Stirling Macedonia – WA NPL

17 July 2026 – Balcatta FC produced a disciplined performance at Grange Reserve to down Stirling Macedonia 2–0 in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. Two first‑half goals proved enough for the home side to collect all three points and climb toward mid‑table safety.

The match started evenly, with both sides struggling to create clear chances on a heavy pitch. Balcatta broke the deadlock in the 27th minute when striker Danny Hay beat the offside trap and calmly finished past Stirling keeper Jack Franks after a clever pass from midfield anchor Alex Ishida. The goal lifted the home side, who doubled their lead just before the interval. A corner was headed goalward by Sam Mitchinson, and although Franks saved his first effort, the ball fell to Oscar Pretorius who smashed in from close range.
