Match Report

The game was a tight, physical affair, with both defences on top for much of the first half. The only goal came in the 38th minute when Sosa collected a pass on the edge of the area, shifted the ball onto her right foot, and curled a delightful shot into the far corner, beyond the reach of Banfield goalkeeper Micaela Ruiz.

Banfield struggled to create clear opportunities in the first half, with their lone striker Florencia Díaz isolated against a well‑organized Belgrano backline.
