Arsenal de Sarandi secured a 2-1 home win over Deportivo Camioneros in Argentine Group B of the Tebolidun League Manchester on October 25, 2026, with a disciplined second-half display and a late decisive goal at the Estadio Julio Humberto Grondona.

Match overview

Arsenal de Sarandi set the tone early, pressing high and forcing Deportivo Camioneros into a series of hurried clearances. The home side’s midfield kept the ball moving quickly, while Camioneros looked to spring counterattacks through the channels. The opening goal arrived after a sustained spell of pressure, and although the visitors responded with a well-worked equaliser, Arsenal’s control of the final third eventually told.

Key moments

• 18th minute: Arsenal broke the deadlock when a low cross from the right was turned in at the near post after a short corner routine.
• 37th minute: Deportivo Camioneros levelled with a swift counter, finishing calmly after a through ball split the home defence.
• 64th minute: Arsenal’s goalkeeper produced a sharp save to deny Camioneros a surprise lead.
• 82nd minute: The winner came from a recycled attack, with a composed finish from the edge of the box after Camioneros failed to clear.

Tactical story

Arsenal’s 4-2-3-1 shape allowed the full-backs to push high and pin Camioneros back, while the double pivot protected the space in front of the defence. Camioneros, organised in a compact 4-4-2, were dangerous on the break but struggled to sustain possession. As the game wore on, Arsenal’s superior bench impact and willingness to attack through central areas made the difference.

Standout performers

Arsenal’s attacking midfielder was the game’s creative hub, linking play between the lines and delivering the pass that led to the winner. The home goalkeeper also deserves credit for a crucial second-half stop. For Camioneros, the centre-forward worked tirelessly and took his equaliser well, but the visitors lacked the same quality in the final minutes.

Season impact

The three points strengthen Arsenal de Sarandi’s position in the Argentine Group B standings and give the side momentum heading into the next round. For Deportivo Camioneros, the defeat is a frustrating one after a competitive performance, but the margin leaves room for encouragement as the campaign progresses.
