Tactical Story

NA Hussein Dey, in a 4-3-3, struggled initially with the intensity but gradually gained a foothold by switching to a more compact midfield. The visitors' equaliser came from a sustained period of pressure, but their defensive vulnerabilities were exposed again late on. Sidi Benali's decision to bring on fresh legs up front proved decisive.

Standout Players

Sidi Benali's two starting forwards combined brilliantly for the first two goals, with the No. 10 pulling the strings. The substitute who scored the winner showed great anticipation. For NA Hussein Dey, their captain and central midfielder drove the comeback with relentless energy, and their winger won the penalty. However, defensive lapses cost them dearly.

League Table Impact

This hard-fought win lifts Sidi Benali into a more comfortable position in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 standings, keeping their promotion hopes alive. NA Hussein Dey remain in the chasing pack but will be frustrated to concede so late. The three points could prove crucial come the end of the season.
