RC Kouba delivered a statement performance in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2, dismantling Harrach 4–0 on 8 October 2026. It was a dominant, complete display from the hosts, who controlled the match from the first whistle to the last.

Match Overview

RC Kouba came into the fixture with clear intent, pressing aggressively and moving the ball quickly through midfield. Harrach struggled to cope with the tempo from the opening minutes and found themselves chasing the game almost immediately. The opening goal settled any early nerves and set the tone for a long, uncomfortable evening for the visitors.

The second goal arrived before half-time, and with it came a sense of inevitability. RC Kouba managed the game smartly after the break, adding two more goals while keeping a clean sheet — a combination that will please the coaching staff as much as the scoreline itself.

Key Moments

• Early opener: RC Kouba took the lead with a well-placed finish after sustained pressure down the left flank.
• Doubling the lead: A second goal before the interval left Harrach with a mountain to climb.
• Second-half control: The hosts added two further goals, including a well-worked team move finished from close range.
• Clean sheet: RC Kouba's defensive line held firm, limiting Harrach to half-chances at best.

Tactical Story

RC Kouba's midfield dominated the central areas, winning second balls and dictating the tempo of the match. Their full-backs pushed high, creating overloads in wide areas and stretching Harrach's defensive shape. The visitors, by contrast, were forced into long, hopeful passes and struggled to sustain any meaningful possession in the attacking third.

Harrach's attempts to press higher after half-time only created more space for RC Kouba to exploit, and the fourth goal came directly from a turnover won in midfield.

Standout Players

RC Kouba's attacking players were excellent, with the forward line combining intelligently and finishing confidently. The midfield anchor was arguably the best player on the pitch, breaking up play and launching attacks with simple, effective passing. For Harrach, it was a night to forget; only their goalkeeper emerged with real credit after making several saves to keep the score from becoming even more lopsided.

What the Result Means

Three points and a four-goal swing give RC Kouba a significant boost in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 standings, improving both their points tally and their goal difference. Harrach, meanwhile, will need to regroup quickly, as a defeat of this size can affect confidence and leave the team vulnerable in the matches ahead.
