Paradou AC Hold Off NRB Teleghma for 2-1 Home Victory

Paradou AC defeated NRB Teleghma 2-1 in their Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 match on September 26, 2026, combining attacking flair with enough defensive resolve to secure all three points. The home side built a two-goal lead before withstanding a late fightback from their visitors.

Paradou AC started brightly, dominating possession and dictating the tempo. Their movement in the final third caused problems early, and they were rewarded when a well-worked move opened the scoring. NRB Teleghma responded with a more physical approach, but Paradou doubled their advantage after the break with a quick counter-attack.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Paradou AC took the lead with a composed finish after a flowing team move.
• Second goal: A rapid break down the right ended with a low cross converted at the back post.
• Teleghma reply: NRB Teleghma pulled one back with a header from a set piece, setting up a tense finale.
• Full-time: Paradou AC 2, NRB Teleghma 1.

Tactical Story

Paradou's academy-driven style was evident: short passes, intelligent rotations, and patience in possession. They used the width of the pitch well, stretching NRB Teleghma's back four. Teleghma, to their credit, adjusted after conceding the second goal and became more direct, pumping crosses into the box. That approach earned them a goal, but Paradou's midfield dropped deeper to protect the lead in the closing stages.

Standout Players and Season Impact

Paradou's right winger was a constant threat, creating chances and stretching the defense. The central midfielder controlled the rhythm, while the goalkeeper made a crucial save late on to preserve the win. For NRB Teleghma, the set-piece threat and never-say-die attitude were positives, but defensive lapses cost them.

The victory keeps Paradou AC in the upper reaches of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 standings and reinforces their reputation as one of the league's most watchable teams. NRB Teleghma remains in search of consistency, but their second-half performance showed they can compete. The result adds another intriguing chapter to the season's promotion and survival battles.
