Match Overview

• IRB Nezla 2 – 2 MO Constantine
• Result: Draw

• Points: IRB Nezla 1, MO Constantine 1

How the Game Unfolded

The match began at a high tempo, with both sides committed to attacking football. IRB Nezla drew first blood in front of their home supporters, converting a promising move to take the lead and lift the atmosphere around the ground. MO Constantine responded with composure rather than panic, gradually working their way back into the contest and equalising before the interval.

The second half produced the same pattern played out at greater intensity. Nezla regained the advantage, and the home crowd sensed a valuable three points. But Constantine's resilience had already been proven once, and they found another response — a second equaliser that stunned the hosts and set up a frantic final stretch.

Both teams had chances to win it late. Nezla pushed numbers forward in search of a third goal, while Constantine looked dangerous on the break as space opened up. In the end, neither could find the decisive moment, and the referee's final whistle confirmed a share of the spoils.

Tactical Story

This was a game of two midfields cancelling each other out in the centre and the flanks becoming the decisive territory. Nezla's build-up play was patient and focused on overloads out wide, while Constantine favoured direct forward passes into the channels. Twice Nezla broke through; twice Constantine answered. That symmetry tells the story of a genuinely even contest.

Standout Performers

• IRB Nezla attack: Two goals at home reflects a productive night for the forward line, though the defensive lapses will frustrate.
• MO Constantine character: Coming from behind twice away from home is a strong marker of squad mentality.
• Both goalkeepers: Made important interventions to keep the scoreline from escalating further.

What It Means for the Table

A point apiece keeps both clubs moving in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 standings, but the feeling will differ. IRB Nezla may see it as two points dropped after leading twice at home, while MO Constantine will view the away draw as a solid result built on resilience. Draws of this nature often prove crucial at the end of the season when points totals are tight.

Nezla must tighten up defensively if they are to convert promising performances into wins, while Constantine can take genuine encouragement from their ability to respond under pressure.
