Harrach 4-0 Taghit — Harrach produced a ruthless display in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2, crushing Taghit 4-0 on Saturday evening. The home side were dominant from the first whistle, scoring twice in the first half before adding two more after the break. The victory moves Harrach into a stronger position in the promotion race, while Taghit remain deep in trouble near the bottom of the table.

Match Overview

Harrach controlled possession from the outset and never allowed Taghit to settle. Their midfield won the ball back quickly, and their front three stretched the away defence repeatedly. By the time the second half began, the result was already looking secure. Taghit offered little going forward and failed to register a single shot on target, underlining the scale of Harrach’s dominance.

Key Moments

• 9th minute: Harrach opened the scoring with a clever through ball and a composed finish inside the penalty area.
• 27th minute: A free kick from the right was headed home to make it 2-0.
• 55th minute: A rapid counter-attack ended with a low strike into the bottom corner for 3-0.
• 79th minute: The fourth goal came from a substitute, who tapped in after a goalkeeper save rebounded into his path.

Tactical Story

Harrach set up in a 4-3-3 and pressed high, forcing Taghit into long balls that were easily reclaimed. Their midfield trio dominated the centre of the pitch, while the full-backs provided constant width. Taghit attempted to defend in a deep 5-4-1 block, but they could not cope with Harrach’s movement and quick passing combinations.

Standout Players

Harrach’s central striker was the standout performer, scoring twice and holding the ball up effectively. The team’s captain controlled the tempo from midfield, and the right winger caused problems throughout. Taghit’s goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, but he was left exposed far too often by his defence.

What the Result Means

The three points lift Harrach into the promotion conversation and send a warning to the rest of Ligue Professionnelle 2. Taghit, meanwhile, face a difficult battle to avoid relegation. If they are to survive, they must tighten up defensively and find a way to create chances away from home.
