Harrach 3–1 RC Arba — Harrach produced one of their most convincing attacking displays of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 season, beating RC Arba in an entertaining contest that swung decisively on a dominant first-half spell.

Match Overview

This was a game with tempo, commitment and no shortage of goalmouth action. Harrach were the sharper side from kick-off, pressing aggressively and moving the ball forward with purpose, and their early authority produced a lead that the visitors never seriously threatened to overturn.

RC Arba, who have shown flashes of genuine quality this season, struggled to cope with the intensity of the home side's press in the opening half hour. They improved after the break and pulled a goal back, but Harrach's response — a third goal to restore the two-goal cushion — killed off any hopes of a comeback.

Key Moments

• Opener: Harrach took the lead after a swift move down the left, with a low cross converted at the back post.
• Double lead: A mistake in the RC Arba defence was punished instantly, the home forward rounding the goalkeeper and finishing into an empty net.
• Third before the break: A stunning strike from outside the box into the top corner gave the home side a commanding half-time advantage.
• Away reply: RC Arba pulled one back after the restart with a well-placed header from a corner, briefly raising hopes of a fightback.
• Closing out the win: Harrach tightened up defensively, slowed the tempo and saw out the closing stages with relative comfort.

Tactical Breakdown

Harrach's success began with their pressing structure. They defended with a high line and compressed the space in midfield, forcing RC Arba into long, hopeful passes that were comfortably dealt with by the home centre-backs. Winning the ball high repeatedly gave the attackers short distances to goal, and three goals in the first half was a fair reflection of that territorial dominance.

RC Arba's response after the interval was notable. They pushed their full-backs higher, committed more bodies into midfield and began to find gaps between Harrach's defensive lines. The set-piece goal was the product of that increased pressure, and for a ten-minute spell the visitors looked genuinely capable of making it uncomfortable.

Harrach's management of that spell was the mark of a mature team. Rather than panicking, they dropped their pressing line slightly, kept their shape and used their substitutions to add fresh energy in midfield. The tempo slowed, the danger passed, and the three points stayed at home.

Standout Performers

The Harrach forward line was the story of the evening. The player who scored the third goal produced the moment of the match, striking the ball cleanly from distance, while his strike partner's anticipation for the second goal showed exactly the kind of predatory instinct that wins games in the second tier. The central midfield pair were relentless in their pressing and controlled the rhythm of the contest.

For RC Arba, the winger who delivered the corner for the goal was their most dangerous outlet, and the substitute introduced at half-time added a spark that had been missing early on.

What It Means for the Table

Three goals and three points represent a significant boost for Harrach, whose attacking output has not always matched their defensive solidity this season. If they can reproduce this level of intensity on a consistent basis, they will be a difficult proposition for anyone in the division, particularly at home.

RC Arba leave with nothing but will take something from a second-half display that showed character. In a league where goal difference and momentum matter enormously across a long campaign, however, shipping three goals in a single half is a problem that needs addressing quickly. Their next fixture offers an immediate opportunity to respond.
