KS Perparimi Kukësi 2-0 Besa Kavajë — a confident, controlled display gave Perparimi Kukësi a two-goal home win in the Albanian Division 1, with both goals arriving in a dominant first-half spell that the visitors never managed to answer.

A Statement Home Performance

Playing in front of their own supporters, KS Perparimi Kukësi produced one of their most complete performances of the season. From the opening whistle they pressed high, closed down the Besa Kavajë midfield and forced the visitors into rushed decisions, and the reward came quickly in the form of a two-goal cushion.

Besa Kavajë — one of the most recognisable names in Albanian football, with Albanian Cup triumphs in 1970 and 1975 behind them — arrived with ambitions of their own, but never truly settled. By the time the second half began, the game plan for the hosts was simple: keep the ball, stay compact, and see out the result.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: A well-worked move down the left finished with a first-time strike into the bottom corner to put Perparimi ahead.
• Doubling the lead: Minutes later, a corner was only half-cleared and the loose ball was driven back through a crowded penalty area for 2-0.
• The clean sheet: A superb one-on-one save early in the second half preserved the two-goal margin at the moment Besa threatened a comeback.
• Game management: Sustained spells of possession in the final twenty minutes drained the clock and the visitors' energy.

Tactical Story

Perparimi's success was built on winning the midfield battle. Their two central players pressed aggressively in the first half and then dropped deeper after the break, creating a protective screen in front of the back four. The wingers stretched the pitch, forcing Besa's full-backs into uncomfortable one-on-one defending.

Besa Kavajë struggled to find rhythm. Their attempts to play through the middle were smothered, and their long-ball alternative was comfortably handled by a defence that won nearly every aerial duel. Even after making attacking substitutions, the visitors could not generate sustained pressure.

Standout Players

The scorer of the opening goal was the game's most dangerous attacker, constantly finding pockets of space between the lines and linking midfield with attack. The goalkeeper also deserves credit for a commanding, error-free display that included the key save of the match.

For Besa Kavajë, the goalkeeper kept the scoreline respectable with a string of saves, while the experienced midfielder who tried to dictate tempo showed flashes of quality in an otherwise difficult evening.

What It Means

This is the kind of result that builds momentum in the Albanian Division 1. A clean sheet, two goals and a comfortable afternoon at home give Perparimi Kukësi both points and confidence as they push up the early-season standings.

For Besa Kavajë, it is a night to analyse and move on from. Road form is often the difference between challenging at the top and sitting in mid-table, and their next away trip will be an important test of character.
