Tactical Story

Pogradeci lined up in a 4-3-3 and pressed Delvina high up the pitch, forcing numerous turnovers in dangerous areas. Their midfield trio controlled the tempo, and the front three were constantly on the move, making it impossible for Delvina's defence to mark them. Delvina attempted to park the bus, but their low block was easily bypassed by Pogradeci's quick combinations. The only disappointment for Pogradeci was that they did not score more, given the number of chances they created.

Standout Players

Erion Rrica was the hat-trick hero, showcasing his finishing ability with three well-taken goals. Klevis Hoxha also impressed with two goals and an assist, while Ledian Memushaj controlled the midfield. For Delvina, it was a night to forget, though goalkeeper Endrit Doda made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat.

What It Means

Pogradeci advance to the next round with a huge confidence boost. They will be a team to avoid in the next draw. For KS Delvina, the defeat ends their cup run and highlights the gap between them and higher-ranked opposition. They will now focus on their league campaign, hoping to recover from this heavy loss.
