ZVVZ USK Prague Women produced an emphatic 113-50 road victory over Slovanka Women in the Zenska Basketbalova Liga on October 26, 2026, overwhelming the hosts with full-court pressure, deep rotation and relentless offensive execution.

USK Prague set the tone immediately, opening a double-digit lead inside the first five minutes and never allowing Slovanka to recover. The visitors led 31-12 after the first quarter and 58-25 at halftime, turning the contest into a clear demonstration of their depth and title credentials.

Game Flow

Slovanka Women struggled from the opening possession against USK’s pressure defense. Prague denied easy ball advancement, forced turnovers and converted them into quick baskets. When Slovanka did break the press, USK’s half-court defense was quick to collapse and contest shots.

• First quarter: Slovanka Women 12-31 ZVVZ USK Prague Women
• Second quarter: Slovanka Women 13-27 ZVVZ USK Prague Women
• Third quarter: Slovanka Women 14-29 ZVVZ USK Prague Women
• Fourth quarter: Slovanka Women 11-26 ZVVZ USK Prague Women

USK’s scoring was relentless across all four quarters. They put up at least 26 points in every period and kept their defensive intensity high even with a deep bench rotation. Slovanka’s best moments came in brief isolated sequences, but they could not sustain any offensive rhythm.

Key Moments

The opening five minutes effectively decided the game. USK jumped out to an 18-2 lead, forcing Slovanka into early timeouts and disrupting their game plan. A second decisive run late in the second quarter pushed the halftime margin to 33 points and removed any doubt about the outcome.

In the third quarter, USK continued to rotate players freely while maintaining their tempo. Slovanka managed a few successful half-court possessions, but the visitors’ defensive pressure and rebounding superiority kept the gap widening.

Tactical Story

USK Prague’s full-court pressure and aggressive trapping were too much for Slovanka. The visitors forced a high number of turnovers and turned them into transition points. Their half-court offense was equally effective, with quick ball movement, accurate three-point shooting and strong offensive rebounding.

Slovanka Women tried to slow the pace with longer possessions, but USK’s depth allowed them to keep fresh legs on the floor. The rebounding battle was one-sided, and Slovanka’s inability to get second-chance points made it difficult to chip away at the lead.

Standout Performers

USK Prague’s balanced scoring was the standout feature. The starters built the early lead, and the bench maintained the intensity, making the team difficult to defend at every stage. Slovanka had a few individual efforts worth noting, particularly in the paint, but the team collectively struggled against USK’s pressure.

Standings Impact

The 113-50 result is a powerful statement in the Zenska Basketbalova Liga and reinforces ZVVZ USK Prague Women’s status as a major contender. For Slovanka Women, it is a tough learning experience, and the focus will now shift to handling pressure, reducing turnovers and competing more effectively on the glass in their next ZBL fixture.
