Match overview

The opening quarter was tight, with both teams feeling each other out and trading baskets in the half-court. SeaStars Tivat Women competed well on the boards and kept the game close early, but Primorje gradually imposed its defensive intensity. A decisive run before halftime gave Primorje a cushion that it never surrendered.

How Primorje built the win

Primorje’s second-quarter surge changed the game. The team forced turnovers, contested shots, and turned defense into quick offense. SeaStars Tivat Women went through a scoring drought in that period, and Primorje took full advantage by attacking the basket and drawing fouls. After halftime, Primorje slowed the pace and protected its lead with disciplined half-court execution.

Defensive control

Primorje’s defense was the story of the match. The team closed driving lanes, rotated well on the perimeter, and limited second-chance opportunities. SeaStars Tivat Women struggled to find rhythm from beyond the arc and often had to settle for difficult shots late in the clock. Primorje’s rebounding and communication at the back end made it difficult for the Tivat side to mount a sustained comeback.

Standout performers

Primorje’s guards controlled the game with smart decision-making and timely scoring, while the frontcourt provided stability on the boards. The bench also contributed important minutes, helping Primorje maintain its defensive pressure. For SeaStars Tivat Women, there were positive spells from the perimeter and inside, but the team could not string together enough stops to close the gap.
