Key moments

Amyntas kept fighting and cut the deficit to five points midway through the fourth quarter, but Olympiakos answered with a crucial three-pointer and a pair of free throws. The visitors also came up with a key offensive rebound in the final two minutes that drained valuable time from the clock. Amyntas had chances to make it a one-possession game, but missed shots and a late turnover ended their comeback hopes.

Standout performers and tactics

Olympiakos’s defensive discipline stood out. They switched effectively on screens, protected the paint, and made Amyntas work for every point. Offensively, their balanced attack kept the hosts guessing, with contributions from the backcourt and wings. Amyntas showed plenty of heart, especially on the boards, but their half-court offense stalled for long stretches. Their guards created some good looks, yet the team’s shooting percentage dipped in the second half.

Season impact

The 68-60 win is a valuable road result for Olympiakos Women in the Greek A1 Women's Basket League. It keeps them in a strong early-season position and demonstrates their ability to win close games away from home. Amyntas (W) will take encouragement from their competitiveness, but they will need more consistent scoring to turn these narrow defeats into victories.
