By halftime, Tabare had built a double-digit advantage, and despite Urunday’s attempts to rally in the third quarter, the hosts maintained their composure and stretched the margin further in the final period.

Key Moments and Tactical Story

Atletico Tabare set the tone in the first quarter with aggressive full-court pressure, forcing several turnovers that translated into fast-break points. Their transition offense was particularly effective, with guards pushing the pace and finding open shooters on the wings. Urunday struggled to find consistent rhythm against the defensive intensity, often settling for contested jump shots.

The turning point came midway through the second quarter when Tabare went on a 12–2 run, turning a single-digit lead into a 16-point advantage. Urunday’s attempts to cut the deficit in the third quarter were met with timely three-pointers from the home team, who shot efficiently from beyond the arc. The visitors never got closer than 10 points in the second half.

Standout Players

While no individual box scores were released, the home team’s success clearly came from collective effort. Atletico Tabare’s interior players were dominant on the boards, both offensively and defensively, limiting Urunday to one-shot possessions. The guard play was crisp, with smart ball movement leading to open looks and a high assist total.

For Urunday Universitario, their leading scorer battled through constant double teams but lacked sufficient support from teammates. The team’s inability to contain Tabare’s dribble penetration and second-chance points proved costly.
