Cader reached the century mark and secured a valuable 100-87 road win over Bohemios in the Uruguay Tercera de Ascenso on 19 October 2026. In a fast-paced contest, Cader’s balanced offense and timely perimeter shooting proved too much for Bohemios, who stayed within striking distance for long stretches but could not contain the visitors down the stretch.

Match overview

Bohemios opened the game with aggressive offense and found early success attacking the basket. Cader, however, matched them shot for shot and soon took control with a series of quick transition baskets. The first quarter was played at a high tempo, with both teams comfortable trading scores, but Cader’s efficiency from beyond the arc gave them a narrow advantage.

The visitors extended their lead in the second quarter by forcing turnovers and turning defense into offense. Bohemios remained competitive thanks to strong individual scoring, but Cader’s depth and ball movement allowed them to keep the upper hand. The second half saw Cader withstand a Bohemios rally before pulling away again in the final minutes.

Key moments

The decisive stretch arrived late in the second quarter, when Cader put together a 12-2 run to open a double-digit lead. Bohemios responded early in the third quarter with a spirited comeback, cutting the deficit to five points and energizing the home crowd. But Cader answered immediately with a 9-0 burst, capped by a three-pointer from the wing, to regain control.

In the fourth quarter, Cader protected their lead at the free-throw line and continued to execute in the half court. Bohemios pushed hard to close the gap, but Cader’s composure and shot-making ended any realistic hope of a comeback.

Tactical story

Cader’s offense was built on quick ball movement and strong spacing. They consistently found open shooters and attacked closeouts, forcing Bohemios into difficult defensive rotations. When Bohemios collapsed into the paint, Cader made them pay from the perimeter. The visitors also won the battle on the boards, limiting second-chance points and allowing their guards to push the pace.

Bohemios had success when they played through their interior scorers and attacked the rim, but their defense struggled to contain Cader’s balanced attack. Foul trouble and missed rotations in the second half made the comeback attempt even harder.

Standout performers

• Bruno Cardozo paced Cader with 26 points, including four three-pointers and several clutch free throws.
• Federico López added 21 points and seven assists, controlling the tempo from the backcourt.
• Joaquín Pereyra led Bohemios with 24 points, but his effort was not enough to stop the visitors’ balanced scoring.

Standings and season impact

The victory gives Cader an important confidence boost in the Uruguay Tercera de Ascenso standings and underlines their ability to score from multiple positions. Reaching 100 points in a road game is a strong statement, particularly in a competition where defensive intensity often decides results. Bohemios, meanwhile, will need to tighten their perimeter defense and reduce turnovers if they are to bounce back in their next fixture. The head-to-head result also gives Cader a useful advantage in the season narrative between the two sides.
