Harem Spor claimed a hard-fought 72-66 road victory over TED Ankara Kolejliler in the Turkish Basketball First League on Saturday, grinding out a result built on defensive discipline and clutch shot-making in the closing minutes.

Match Overview

This was a contest defined by defensive intensity rather than offensive fireworks. Both teams struggled for rhythm early, and the game remained close throughout, before Harem Spor pulled away in the fourth quarter with a decisive run that TED Ankara Kolejliler could not answer.

How the Game Unfolded

The first quarter set the tone for a physical, low-scoring battle. TED Ankara Kolejliler used their home support to edge ahead briefly, but Harem Spor's half-court defense kept the game within a basket throughout the opening period.

The second quarter was a scrappy affair, with both teams trading turnovers and contested shots. Neither side could establish a meaningful lead, and the teams went into the halftime break separated by a narrow margin, setting up a tense second half.

TED Ankara Kolejliler came out of the locker room with renewed energy and briefly threatened to take control, but Harem Spor's bench provided a valuable spark. Timely three-pointers and aggressive rebounding helped the visitors stay level as the game entered the final period.

In the fourth quarter, Harem Spor found another gear. A quick scoring burst pushed the lead to double digits, and although TED Ankara Kolejliler fought back with late baskets, the visitors converted their free throws down the stretch to seal a six-point win.
