The Turkish Basketball First League delivered a tightly contested night of action, and Harem Spor's home meeting with Kahramanmaras ended in a narrow 74-69 defeat for the hosts. Played on 17 October 2026, the game was decided in the closing minutes, when Kahramanmaras found the extra scoring run that Harem Spor could not match.

Match Overview

Harem Spor entered the contest looking to use home advantage to control the tempo, but Kahramanmaras stayed within touching distance throughout and turned a close game into a valuable road win. The final scoreline of 74-69 reflects how little separated the teams for long stretches, with neither side able to build a comfortable cushion.

Key Moments

The decisive phase came late in the fourth quarter. After Harem Spor had kept the game within a single possession, Kahramanmaras produced the more composed offensive possessions down the stretch, converting inside and drawing fouls to keep the clock and the scoreboard in their favour. Harem Spor's final attempts to level the game did not fall, and the visitors closed out the win from the free-throw line.

Standout Performers

Harem Spor's scoring load was spread across the rotation, with their guards creating most of the offence off drives and kick-outs. Kahramanmaras, meanwhile, leaned on their frontcourt presence on the boards and a steady half-court approach that limited turnovers in the closing minutes. The visitors' ability to win the rebound battle in the fourth quarter proved decisive.

Season Impact

The result gives Kahramanmaras an important away victory in the Turkish Basketball First League standings, while Harem Spor are left to reflect on a home defeat that was decided by fine margins. Both teams will take lessons from a game that underlined how competitive the league is night to night, with execution in the final five minutes often the difference between victory and defeat.
