Standout Players

JS Menezah guard Karim Bouzid led all scorers with 19 points, including three three-pointers, and added 4 assists. Tactical Story

JS Menezah’s offensive approach was patient and deliberate. They used ball screens to create mismatches and attacked the paint when CS Hammam Sousse overplayed the perimeter. Defensively, the hosts packed the lane and forced Hammam Sousse into contested jump shots. That strategy worked well, as the visitors made just 6 of their 22 three-point attempts.

CS Hammam Sousse tried to push the pace in the second half, but JS Menezah’s transition defense was solid. The hosts consistently got back to protect the rim and forced Hammam Sousse into difficult half-court possessions. In the end, Menezah’s ability to execute in the clutch made the difference in a game where neither team shot particularly well.

Season Impact

The win improves JS Menezah’s standing in the Tunisia Basketball League and gives them a valuable victory over a direct competitor. Their defensive identity and clutch execution will be important assets as the season progresses. For CS Hammam Sousse, the loss is a frustrating one, as they were within striking distance late but could not finish.

JS Menezah will look to build on this result in their next outing, while CS Hammam Sousse will focus on limiting turnovers and improving their late-game execution. In a league where every point matters, this hard-fought win could prove significant when the standings are finalized.
