The 23:30 tip-off saw the visitors take control of the game and hold off their hosts down the stretch to claim an eleven-point win.

Match Overview

Fenerbahce Gelisim Women entered the contest with home advantage, but TED Ankara Kolejliler imposed their game plan from the opening quarter. Their ball movement and shot selection kept the Fenerbahce defense off balance, and the visitors built a lead that they managed intelligently for the remainder of the game.

The hosts made runs — as expected from any Fenerbahce side — and closed the gap at various points, but TED Ankara consistently answered with timely baskets. The 81-70 final score reflects a controlled, professional display from the visitors, who never allowed the game to slip entirely out of reach.

Key Moments

• Opening-quarter edge: TED Ankara established early momentum and forced Fenerbahce to play catch-up basketball.
• Answering the run: When the hosts threatened to cut the deficit in the third quarter, the visitors replied with a scoring burst to restore control.
• Fourth-quarter management: Smart clock management and free-throw shooting sealed the result in the closing minutes.

Tactical Story

TED Ankara Kolejliler's perimeter defense was a key factor, limiting Fenerbahce Gelisim's clean looks from beyond the arc and forcing them into contested drives. On offense, the visitors attacked with patience, probing for mismatches and exploiting gaps in the Fenerbahce defense rather than settling for early shots.

Fenerbahce Gelisim Women showed moments of real quality, with individual skill creating scoring chances, but their collective execution wavered in the decisive moments. Missed free throws and turnovers at crucial junctures allowed TED Ankara to keep their advantage intact.

This away win is a significant boost for TED Ankara Kolejliler Women in the Turkish Women's Basketball League table and a statement against a well-regarded Fenerbahce development side. For Fenerbahce Gelisim, the defeat is a learning opportunity in a competitive league where home results are crucial.
