Team Info

tigerscores365 The Montana Women's basketball team represents the University of Montana, competing in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Big Sky Conference. They play their home games at the Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, a venue known for its loud and supportive crowds. The team, known as the Lady Griz, wears the university's colors of maroon and silver. Under the legendary leadership of coach Robin Selvig for nearly four decades, the Lady Griz built a dynasty in the Big Sky, capturing numerous conference championships and making regular appearances in the NCAA Tournament. That era defined Montana women's basketball with a fundamentally sound, disciplined style and incredible fan support that regularly led the nation in attendance. The modern era sees the program continuing its proud tradition, consistently competing at the top of the conference and maintaining one of the most passionate fan bases in all of mid-major women's basketball. The atmosphere at Dahlberg Arena remains one of the best in the country.
