Medical Park Trabzonspor survived a nervy finish to edge Bordo BK 83–80 in a tightly contested Turkish Basketbol Super Ligi fixture. The hosts led for much of the evening but had to withstand a late barrage of three-point attempts before sealing the win at the free-throw line.

Match Overview

This was a game of swings, momentum and pressure shooting. Bordo BK opened with the sharper offense, knocking down shots from deep and pushing the pace, but Trabzonspor's response in the second quarter proved decisive. A 25-point period swung the contest in the hosts' favor and gave them a cushion they would ultimately need.

The final minutes were tense. Bordo cut the deficit to a single possession twice in the last 90 seconds, only for Trabzonspor to convert at the line and force the visitors into difficult, contested looks.

• Q2: Trabzonspor 25–18 Bordo BK
• Q3: Trabzonspor 18–20 Bordo BK
• Q4: Trabzonspor 20–20 Bordo BK
• Final: Medical Park Trabzonspor 83–80 Bordo BK

Key Moments

The game's defining stretch came in the second quarter, when Trabzonspor strung together a 13–3 run. It began with a defensive stop and a transition dunk, and it was capped by back-to-back three-pointers from the wings that turned a two-point deficit into an eight-point lead.

In the fourth, Bordo's guards found their range again and dragged their team back into it. With under a minute to play, a corner three made it a three-point game. Trabzonspor's response was calm: a patient possession, a foul drawn on the drive, and two made free throws that effectively ended the contest.

Tactical Story

Trabzonspor's edge came inside. Their big men controlled the defensive glass and generated a steady stream of second-chance points, while the pick-and-roll game repeatedly forced Bordo's bigs into uncomfortable drop coverage. When the visitors switched to a smaller lineup, the hosts simply went inside and finished over the top.

Bordo's best moments came when they played fast. Their transition attack and quick ball movement created open looks, and their zone defense in the third quarter briefly disrupted Trabzonspor's rhythm. But the visitors' half-court offense stalled too often in the closing minutes, relying on difficult individual shots rather than working the ball into the paint.

Standout Performers

• Trabzonspor's point guard controlled the tempo and delivered in the clutch, finishing with a team-high scoring night and several key assists.
• The starting center was a force on the boards, dominating the paint and altering shots at the rim.
• Bordo BK's shooting guard kept his side alive with a series of tough, contested three-pointers in the fourth quarter.
• The visitors' bench provided real energy, cutting the deficit twice in the final period.

Season Impact

Three-point wins are worth more than two points in the standings — they build the kind of composure that matters in the playoffs. Trabzonspor move forward with confidence, protecting home court in a competitive Basketbol Super Ligi field where every road result is hard-earned.

For Bordo BK, the performance offered plenty of encouragement despite the defeat. They competed for 40 minutes on the road against a strong opponent and lost narrowly on the details: a couple of missed free throws, a few rushed possessions. Those margins will decide their season.
