Tactical Story

Bordo BK came out with a smart game plan, using a zone defense to slow down Efes's high-powered offense. It worked for long stretches, as Efes settled for contested threes in the first half. However, Efes adjusted in the second half, attacking the zone through the high post and generating open corner threes.

On defense, Efes struggled to contain Bordo's dynamic backcourt, which repeatedly penetrated and kicked out for open shooters. But in the clutch, Efes's switching defense forced two key turnovers that swung the game.

Efes's All-EuroLeague guard finished with 26 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds, delivering in the biggest moments. Their center added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
