The hosts led by 21 at halftime and by 29 after three quarters, turning the game into a comfortable victory well before the final buzzer. Konya's defense was suffocating, holding Beylikduzu to single-digit scoring in the first quarter and under 50 points for the game.

Key moments

• Konya's 14-0 run to open the game set the tone and forced an early Beylikduzu timeout.
• A 9-2 burst midway through the second quarter extended the lead to 36-15.
• Konya opened the third with a 10-2 run, pushing the margin to 26 and ending any realistic comeback hopes.
• The hosts' bench closed the game strongly, preserving the defensive intensity until the final whistle.

Tactical story

Konya's full-court pressure disrupted Beylikduzu's half-court sets and created easy transition baskets. The hosts rotated well on the back line, forced contested passes and turned several steals into quick points. On offense, Konya attacked the rim early, drawing fouls and opening up driving lanes for their guards.

Beylikduzu tried to slow the pace with zone defense, but Konya's ball movement and offensive rebounding made the zone ineffective. The visitors also struggled from the free-throw line and gave up too many second-chance points, compounding their problems.

Standout players

Ahmet Koc led Konya with 17 points and six rebounds, while Murat Sen added 15 points and five assists. Emirhan Yildiz contributed 12 points and eight rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends.

For Beylikduzu, Deniz Acar finished with 10 points, but the visitors found little support around him.

Season impact

The win is a significant confidence boost for Konya Buyuksehir and strengthens their standing in the Türkiye Basketbol 2. Ligi table. A 32-point home victory sends a clear message about their defensive potential and depth.

Beylikduzu Basket will need to regroup quickly, particularly on offense. Their inability to handle pressure and generate quality shots will be a focus before the next round of fixtures.
