Key moments

A late run in the second quarter pushed the lead past 20, and the visitors never allowed Brahe to climb back into contention.

Onsala’s most impressive stretch came in the third quarter, when the team combined pressure defense with patient half-court execution. Brahe’s offense stalled for long stretches, and Onsala’s lead ballooned. The final period was played at a comfortable pace for the visitors, who maintained their intensity despite the large margin.

Tactical story

Onsala’s shooting was the headline, but the win was built on defense and rebounding. The visitors contested Brahe’s first actions, forced difficult passes, and controlled the defensive glass. That combination allowed Onsala to play fast without sacrificing control. In the half court, the team used quick ball reversals to create open looks and attacked closeouts with confidence.

Brahe had some success when it played through the post, but the team struggled to match Onsala’s pace. The hosts also gave up too many offensive rebounds, which extended possessions and allowed Onsala to keep the pressure on.

Standout performers

Klara Svensson led Onsala Women with 24 points, including six three-pointers, while Ida Persson added 18 points and 11 rebounds. The visitors’ bench also contributed meaningful scoring and defensive energy. For Brahe Women, Maja Karlsson finished with 16 points, but the team’s offensive rhythm never fully developed against Onsala’s pressure.
