Key Moments

Zornotza’s 12-2 run in the first quarter established early control. The visitors then closed the first half strongly, pushing the lead to 17 points at the break. Any hopes of a CB La Flecha comeback were effectively ended by a 10-0 Zornotza run early in the third quarter.

The final quarter was played at a high tempo, but Zornotza maintained its defensive intensity and continued to convert turnovers into easy baskets. The visitors’ bench also contributed meaningful minutes, helping preserve the large margin.

Tactical Story

Zornotza’s full-court pressure and active hands disrupted CB La Flecha’s rhythm. The visitors forced turnovers and turned them into transition points, while their half-court offense featured sharp ball movement and confident three-point shooting.

CB La Flecha tried to slow the game down and attack through its half-court sets, but the hosts were inconsistent against Zornotza’s length and athleticism. Second-chance opportunities were limited, and the home side’s perimeter defense struggled to contain dribble penetration.

Standout Performances

Zornotza’s wing led a balanced attack with 23 points, while the starting guard added 18 points and nine assists. The visitors also received strong production from the bench, a key reason they were able to maintain their intensity across all four quarters.

CB La Flecha’s guard was one of the few bright spots, finishing with 19 points and several tough finishes at the rim. The home frontcourt battled on the boards, but the team as a whole could not match Zornotza’s efficiency.

Season Impact

The victory is a major confidence boost for Zornotza Saskibaloi and a strong result for its point differential in the Tercera FEB standings. Winning by 27 points on the road sends a clear message about the team’s offensive potential and defensive pressure.

For CB La Flecha, the loss is a reminder of the level required in the league. The club will need to improve its ball security and half-court defense before the next round.
