CB Toledo produced a high-scoring statement performance to beat UDEA Algeciras 100-79 in Spain's Segunda FEB on 18 October 2026. Toledo reached the century mark behind a balanced attack and a dominant second quarter that put them in control for good.

The home side played with pace from the opening tip, but it was their defense in the middle periods that allowed them to turn a competitive game into a comfortable win. Algeciras stayed within striking distance early before Toledo's depth and shot-making pulled them clear.

Quarter-by-quarter scoring

• First quarter: CB Toledo 25-20 UDEA Algeciras
• Second quarter: CB Toledo 27-19 UDEA Algeciras
• Halftime: CB Toledo 52-39 UDEA Algeciras
• Third quarter: CB Toledo 24-21 UDEA Algeciras
• Fourth quarter: CB Toledo 24-19 UDEA Algeciras

How the game turned

Toledo led 25-20 after the first quarter, but the second period was where the game broke open. A 12-2 run early in the quarter forced Algeciras into a timeout, and Toledo kept the pressure on from there. By halftime, the lead had grown to 13 points at 52-39.

The third quarter followed a similar pattern. Toledo continued to move the ball well and attacked the basket with confidence, while Algeciras struggled to string together stops. The lead reached 20 points in the second half, and Toledo comfortably closed out the game from there.

Tactical story

Toledo's offense was built on quick ball movement and aggressive transition play. They attacked before Algeciras could set their defense, and when the game slowed down, they found ways to create open looks through screening and penetration. The result was a balanced scoring effort that made Toledo difficult to defend.

Algeciras had their moments, particularly when their guards created shots off the dribble, but they could not match Toledo's efficiency for 40 minutes. Toledo's rebounding and second-chance points also gave them extra possessions, which proved costly for the visitors.

What the result means

For CB Toledo, the 100-point performance is a strong statement in the Segunda FEB standings and a significant boost to their point differential. UDEA Algeciras will need to improve their defensive consistency and rebounding before their next game. Toledo's ability to score at this rate makes them a dangerous opponent, and this win will be remembered as one of their most complete offensive displays of the season.
