Tactical story

Leganes’ defensive game plan focused on disrupting Jairis’ guard play. They switched aggressively on screens, double-teamed in the post, and denied easy entry passes. Jairis struggled to find open looks and often settled for contested jumpers. On offense, Leganes used inside-out passing and offensive rebounds to generate second-chance points.

Jairis’ offense was stagnant for long stretches. Their guards had difficulty breaking down Leganes’ pressure, and their post players were crowded by help defenders. Leganes also won the free-throw battle, making 16 of 20 attempts compared to Jairis’ 9 of 14.

Standout performers

Leganes’ forward was the best player on the floor, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds while anchoring the defense. Their point guard added 14 points and six assists, controlling the tempo and making smart decisions in transition. A reserve guard provided a spark off the bench with 11 points, including two crucial three-pointers.

For Club Jairis Women, the center fought hard with 14 points and 10 rebounds, but she received limited help from the perimeter. Their shooting guard added 11 points, but Jairis’ backcourt struggled with turnovers and never found a consistent rhythm against Leganes’ pressure.
