CD Vinas Logrono Women produced a dominant home performance to defeat CB Adareva Tenerife Women 79-53 in the Spain LF Challenge Women, controlling the game from the opening quarter and never allowing their opponents a route back into the contest. It was a statement win built on defensive intensity, balanced scoring and excellent execution at both ends of the floor.

A Fast Start Sets the Tone

CD Vinas Logrono Women came out with clear intent, pushing the tempo early and forcing CB Adareva Tenerife Women into difficult, contested shots. The home side's aggressive perimeter defense disrupted Tenerife's rhythm, while their own offense flowed through quick ball movement and confident shooting. By the end of the first quarter, Logrono had already established a lead that would only grow.

The second quarter reinforced the pattern. Logrono's defensive rebounding limited second-chance opportunities, and their transition game punished any Tenerife mistakes. Going into halftime, the home side held a comfortable advantage and appeared in complete control of the contest.

Second Half: Logrono Keep Their Foot on the Gas

Rather than easing off, CD Vinas Logrono Women extended their lead after the break. Their bench players contributed meaningful minutes, maintaining the defensive standard and keeping the offense efficient. CB Adareva Tenerife Women struggled to find consistent scoring, managing only 53 points across the full game — a reflection of how well Logrono defended the paint and closed out on shooters.

• Defensive dominance: Logrono held their opponents to a low shooting percentage and limited open looks.
• Balanced scoring: Contributions across the roster made the offense difficult to defend.
• Rebounding edge: Control of the boards denied Tenerife crucial second-chance points.
• Bench impact: Rotation players preserved intensity and extended the lead.

Standout Performances

Logrono's scoring was spread across the lineup, with guards and forwards alike contributing to the 79-point total. Their team-first approach meant no single player had to carry the load, which kept the offense unpredictable and hard to defend. For CB Adareva Tenerife Women, the night was a difficult one, but individual efforts on the defensive end showed the fight within the squad even as the scoreline slipped away.

Tactical Takeaways

The game was decided by Logrono's defensive pressure and their ability to convert stops into points. By forcing Tenerife into late-clock situations, the home side reduced their opponents' efficiency and controlled the game's tempo. On offense, patient ball movement and smart shot selection consistently produced high-quality attempts, while disciplined transition defense prevented Tenerife from finding any easy baskets.
