Agribertocchi Orzinuovi Storm to 92-65 Win Over UPEA C.D. Orlando

Agribertocchi Orzinuovi produced a dominant offensive display in Serie B Basket on 26 October 2026, overwhelming UPEA C.D. Orlando 92-65. The hosts were relentless from the opening tip, moving the ball with precision and knocking down shots from every area of the floor. By halftime, the game was already firmly under their control.

The 92-point outburst was powered by a combination of fast-break scoring, three-point shooting and efficient interior play. Orlando never found a way to slow the pace, and Orzinuovi’s defensive pressure turned several possessions into quick points at the other end.

Match Overview

Orzinuovi set the tone with a 26-16 first quarter, attacking early and forcing Orlando into difficult shots. The second quarter was even more one-sided: the hosts added 22 points while holding Orlando to 15, taking a commanding 48-31 lead into the halftime break.

Any hope of an Orlando comeback was quickly extinguished in the third quarter. Orzinuovi poured in 25 points and extended the lead to 73-49. The final period was played with the result already decided, but the hosts maintained their focus and finished with a 19-16 advantage to complete a 92-65 victory.

Key Moments

The game’s defining moment came in the second quarter when Orzinuovi strung together a 14-2 run. It featured two three-pointers, a fast-break dunk and a pair of defensive stops that forced Orlando into a timeout. The run broke the visitors’ resistance and turned a competitive opening into a rout.

Orlando tried to respond with a more physical approach in the third quarter, but Orzinuovi’s ball movement was too sharp. The hosts repeatedly found open shooters in the corners and used their size advantage on the offensive glass to create extra possessions.

Tactical Story

Orzinuovi’s offense was a model of efficiency. They played with excellent spacing, made the extra pass and attacked closeouts with confidence. The hosts also dominated the rebounding battle, limiting Orlando to one shot on most possessions while generating second-chance opportunities of their own.

Defensively, Orzinuovi disrupted Orlando’s rhythm by pressuring the ball handler and denying easy entry passes. Orlando’s offense became stagnant at times, relying on isolations and contested jumpers. When the visitors did break the pressure, they often rushed their finishes, allowing Orzinuovi to control the tempo.

Standout Performers

Orzinuovi’s perimeter players were the catalysts, knocking down open shots and pushing the pace in transition. The frontcourt controlled the paint on both ends, scoring efficiently and protecting the rim. The bench also contributed meaningful minutes, ensuring there was no drop-off in intensity.

For UPEA C.D. Orlando, there were few bright spots. Their guards competed hard and created a handful of good looks, but the team as a whole struggled to match Orzinuovi’s energy and execution.

Season Impact

This 92-65 win is a significant statement for Agribertocchi Orzinuovi in the Serie B Basket standings. It boosts their point differential and sends a warning to the rest of the league about their offensive potential. When they shoot and share the ball this well, they are difficult to contain.

UPEA C.D. Orlando will need to regroup and focus on defensive fundamentals. For Orzinuovi, the key is consistency: repeating this level of intensity will be crucial as the season progresses and the competition becomes more demanding.
