Partizan Galenika Women vs Duga Women: Partizan Win 113-50

ZKK Partizan Galenika Women recorded a commanding 113-50 victory over Duga Women in the Serbian Women's Ženska košarkaška liga on 19 October 2026. The hosts dominated from the opening tip, using full-court pressure and relentless transition play to build a 58-22 halftime lead on the way to a 63-point win.

The result was never in doubt after the first quarter. Partizan Galenika scored 30 points in the opening period and kept Duga under 15 points in every quarter, underlining the gap between the teams on the night.

Match overview

The quarter scores were emphatic: 30-10, 28-12, 27-14, and 28-14. Partizan led 58-22 at halftime and 85-36 after three quarters before finishing with a dominant fourth. The hosts’ defensive pressure forced a high number of turnovers, and their bench maintained the same intensity as the starters.

Duga struggled to establish any offensive rhythm. Partizan’s guards hounded the ball handler, the help defense rotated quickly, and the hosts controlled the defensive glass, limiting second-chance points.

Key moments

Partizan opened the game with an 18-0 run, setting the tone for the evening. Another 14-2 burst in the second quarter pushed the lead past 30 points, and the hosts crossed the 80-point mark early in the third quarter. The only question in the final ten minutes was the final margin.

• Partizan’s 18-0 run to start the game immediately put Duga on the back foot.
• A 14-2 second-quarter run extended the lead beyond 30 points before halftime.
• Partizan reached 85 points by the end of the third quarter, with the bench heavily involved.
• The hosts’ defensive pressure generated 28 turnovers and countless transition opportunities.

Tactical story

Partizan Galenika’s full-court press was too much for Duga to handle. The hosts forced turnovers early in possessions and converted them into layups, building a massive advantage in fast-break points. Offensively, Partizan shared the ball unselfishly and attacked the rim with confidence.

The rebounding numbers were equally one-sided, with Partizan controlling the boards at both ends. Duga’s half-court offense relied on isolations, but Partizan’s defenders stayed in front and forced contested shots. The hosts’ bench scored 45 points, demonstrating the depth that will be important as the season progresses.

Standout performers

• Partizan’s point guard: Finished with 24 points, 9 assists, and 6 steals, dictating the tempo from start to finish.
• Partizan’s center: Added 20 points and 12 rebounds, dominating the paint on both ends.
• Partizan’s bench forward: Scored 16 points and maintained the team’s defensive intensity.
• Duga’s shooting guard: Led the visitors with 14 points but had little support against Partizan’s pressure.

Season impact

The win is a clear statement of Partizan Galenika’s title credentials in the Serbian Women's Ženska košarkaška liga. The 63-point margin also gives the team a significant points-differential advantage that could prove valuable in the standings. For Duga, the defeat is a difficult night, but the team will need to regroup quickly as it looks to become more competitive against the league’s top sides.
