ZKK Kraljevo Women delivered a statement performance in the Serbian Women’s Basketball League, defeating Spartak Subotica Women 89-55 on October 20, 2026. The 34-point margin reflected Kraljevo’s control at both ends of the floor and gave the home side a result that will strengthen its standing in the Ženska košarkaška liga table.

Match overview

Kraljevo set the tone early and never allowed Spartak Subotica to settle into a comfortable rhythm. The hosts led 24-12 after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 46-27 by halftime. A 21-14 third-quarter run effectively put the game beyond reach, and Kraljevo closed with a 22-14 fourth quarter to complete the rout. The quarter breakdown read 24-12, 22-15, 21-14 and 22-14 in favor of the home team.

Key moments

The decisive stretch came late in the first half and early in the third quarter. Kraljevo’s full-court pressure forced a string of Spartak Subotica turnovers, which the hosts converted into quick transition points. When Spartak tried to slow the game down, Kraljevo’s half-court defense remained compact and limited clean looks from the perimeter. By the time the fourth quarter began, the contest had shifted from a competitive league fixture into a clear demonstration of Kraljevo’s depth.

Tactical story

Kraljevo’s defensive approach was the story of the game. The hosts controlled the defensive glass, limited second-chance opportunities and pushed the pace whenever Spartak Subotica missed. On offense, Kraljevo shared the ball well and attacked the paint with purpose, drawing help defense before finding open shooters. Spartak’s half-court offense struggled against that pressure, and its best stretches came only when it was able to score early in the shot clock.

Standout performers

Kraljevo’s backcourt dictated tempo throughout, while the frontcourt controlled the paint and created extra possessions on the offensive boards. The hosts finished with a balanced scoring line, a hallmark of their best performances this season. Spartak Subotica’s top scorer worked hard to keep the visitors within reach in the first half, but the support around her was inconsistent once Kraljevo increased its defensive intensity.

League impact

With the win, ZKK Kraljevo Women strengthens its position in the Serbian Women’s Basketball League standings and improves its point differential, a detail that can matter when playoff seeding and tiebreakers are decided. For Spartak Subotica Women, the loss is a reminder of the gap that remains against the league’s stronger sides, but the schedule offers chances to respond. For Kraljevo, the 89-55 result is the kind of performance that builds confidence for the tougher matchups ahead.
