KK Mladost Zemun Defeat Radnicki Kragujevac 99-84 in High-Scoring Serbia Basketball League Clash

KK Mladost Zemun put together a strong offensive display in the Serbia Basketball League on October 27, 2026, defeating Radnicki Kragujevac 99-84. Mladost controlled the game with efficient inside scoring, offensive rebounding and a balanced attack that wore down Radnicki over four quarters.

The hosts led 27-20 after the first quarter, extended the advantage to 51-42 at halftime and then broke the game open with a 26-19 third quarter. Radnicki remained competitive in spurts, but Mladost’s depth and physicality proved too much down the stretch.

Match Overview

Mladost Zemun played with pace from the opening possession, attacking the rim and forcing Radnicki into early foul trouble. The hosts shared the ball well and consistently found cutters behind Radnicki’s defense. Their offensive rebounding also created extra possessions that proved costly for the visitors.

Radnicki stayed in the game through the first half behind strong guard play and timely three-point shooting. However, the Kragujevac side struggled to contain Mladost’s frontcourt and gave up too many second-chance points in the second half.

Key Moments

• Mladost used a 12-0 run in the second quarter to turn a close game into a 38-27 lead.
• Radnicki cut the deficit to six early in the third quarter, but Mladost answered with an 11-2 run.
• A pair of fast-break dunks midway through the fourth pushed the lead past 20 and ended Radnicki’s resistance.
• Mladost’s bench closed the game and maintained the defensive intensity.

Tactical Story

Mladost’s half-court offense was built on paint touches and quick ball reversals. The hosts repeatedly attacked the baseline and used their size advantage to finish over smaller defenders. When Radnicki helped inside, Mladost made the extra pass for open corner threes.

Defensively, Mladost limited Radnicki’s transition chances and forced the visitors into difficult half-court possessions. Radnicki had success when its guards created off the dribble, but the team’s inability to secure defensive rebounds undermined those efforts.

Standout Performers and Season Impact

Mladost’s starting backcourt combined for 37 points and 12 assists, controlling the tempo throughout. The frontcourt added 34 points and 21 rebounds, giving Zemun a decisive advantage in the paint. Radnicki’s leading scorer finished with 21 points, but the visitors were out-rebounded by double digits.

The win gives KK Mladost Zemun valuable momentum in the Serbia Basketball League standings and reinforces their home-court advantage. For Radnicki Kragujevac, the loss highlights the need for better rebounding and defensive discipline against physical opponents. The result will be an important reference point as both teams continue through the KLS schedule.
