Standout Performances

KK Mladost Zemun’s leading scorer finished with 21 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter. He attacked the basket aggressively and drew fouls, finishing 7-of-8 from the free-throw line. The power forward added 15 points and 11 rebounds, dominating the offensive glass and giving his team extra possessions. The point guard contributed 12 points and 7 assists, managing the game well in the closing minutes.

For KK Radnicki, the shooting guard led the way with 19 points, hitting four three-pointers. However, he received limited help from the bench, and the team’s interior players struggled against Mladost’s size. Radnicki’s center finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds, but he was in foul trouble for much of the second half, which hurt their defensive presence.

Tactical Story

Mladost Zemun focused on attacking the paint and crashing the offensive boards. They recognized that Radnicki lacked depth inside and repeatedly fed their big men. Defensively, Mladost switched between man-to-man and a compact 2-3 zone, which confused Radnicki’s shooters and forced them into contested jumpers. The zone was particularly effective in the third quarter, when Radnicki scored only 17 points.

Radnicki tried to counter by pushing the pace and taking early three-pointers, but their shot selection deteriorated as the game wore on. They also struggled with turnovers, committing 14 for the game, many of which led to Mladost fast breaks. When Radnicki did get good looks, they often missed, finishing under 40% from the field. Mladost’s discipline and physicality were the difference.
