Key moments

A three-pointer from Nemanja Ilić and a fast-break dunk from Stefan Đorđević gave the home crowd life and briefly put Metalac ahead 72-70. Cacak 94 responded immediately with a timeout and a set play that produced an open corner three from Aleksa Jovanović.

In the final two minutes, the game turned into a free-throw contest. Metalac cut the deficit to 78-80 on a pair of Marko Pavlović free throws, but Cacak 94’s Luka Milošević knocked down two clutch foul shots at the other end. Metalac’s last three-point attempt was contested and missed, allowing Cacak 94 to close out the 82-78 win.

Tactical story

Cacak 94 won the game with perimeter shooting and backcourt pressure. The visitors hit 11 three-pointers and forced 14 Metalac turnovers, turning many of them into transition points. Metalac stayed close by attacking the offensive glass and getting to the line, but they shot just 8-of-26 from beyond the arc.

Metalac’s half-court offense often relied on isolation plays for Ilić and Đorđević. That worked in stretches, but Cacak 94’s help defense rotated well enough to contest shots late. The rebounding battle was nearly even, with Cacak 94 holding a slight 34-32 edge.

Standout players

Aleksa Jovanović (Cacak 94) led the winners with 21 points and seven assists. He controlled the tempo and hit the biggest shot of the fourth quarter.

Luka Milošević (Cacak 94) added 17 points and nine rebounds, while Filip Radovanović chipped in 14 points. Cacak 94’s balanced scoring proved difficult for Metalac to contain.

For KK Metalac, Nemanja Ilić scored 20 points, Stefan Đorđević had 16 points and six assists, and Marko Pavlović finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Their efforts kept Metalac in the game, but the home side could not get the final stop it needed.

Serbia Basketball League impact

The 82-78 result gives Cacak 94 an important road victory in the Serbia Basketball League standings and reinforces its reputation as a tough, guard-led opponent. KK Metalac remain competitive, but the loss highlights the need for more consistent late-game execution. The two clubs will meet again later in the season, and that return fixture could carry significant head-to-head importance if the standings remain tight.
