KK Mladost Zemun secured a 77-69 road victory over KK Dynamic in the Serbia Basketball League on October 20, 2026, using a composed second-half performance to pull away from a stubborn home side. The eight-point final margin underlined the visitors’ edge in execution late in the game, even though KK Dynamic remained competitive for long stretches.

Match overview

KK Dynamic opened with energy in front of their home supporters and attacked the paint early, forcing Mladost Zemun to work for quality looks. The hosts’ initial spark kept the game tight through the opening period, but Mladost gradually settled into their half-court offense and began to control the tempo. By halftime, the contest had the feel of a possession-by-possession battle, with neither team able to build a comfortable cushion.

The decisive shift came after the break. Mladost Zemun tightened their defensive rotations, limited second-chance opportunities, and converted several key stops into transition points. KK Dynamic stayed within striking distance but could not string together enough scoring runs to reclaim the lead in the final minutes.

Key moments

The fourth quarter provided the clearest separation. With KK Dynamic threatening to cut the deficit to a single possession, Mladost Zemun responded with a timely run built on defensive pressure and patient shot selection. A pair of important rebounds and a made three-pointer shifted the momentum firmly toward the visitors, forcing Dynamic to chase the game in the closing stages.

KK Dynamic had chances to make it tighter, but missed free throws and a few rushed possessions proved costly. Mladost’s ability to protect the ball in the final three minutes was the difference between a narrow escape and the eventual 77-69 win.

Tactical story

Mladost Zemun’s defensive discipline stood out. They collapsed efficiently on drives, contested shots around the rim, and made KK Dynamic earn points from the perimeter. On offense, the visitors shared the ball well and punished overhelping defenders with timely kick-outs. Their balanced scoring made it difficult for Dynamic to key in on one primary threat.

KK Dynamic’s best moments came when they played with pace and attacked before Mladost’s defense could set. However, those spells were too intermittent. The hosts also struggled to contain Mladost on the offensive glass, conceding extra possessions at critical moments.

Standout performers

Mladost Zemun’s backcourt controlled the game’s rhythm, combining steady ball-handling with timely shot-making. Their forward rotation also delivered important contributions on both ends, particularly in the third and fourth quarters. For KK Dynamic, the interior scoring and effort on the boards kept the team alive, but the hosts lacked the same level of late-game execution.

Season impact

The result gives KK Mladost Zemun a valuable road win in the Serbia Basketball League standings and reinforces their ability to close out close games. For KK Dynamic, the 69-77 defeat is a frustrating one because the game was within reach, but the performance still showed enough competitiveness to suggest better results are possible. Both teams will now turn their attention to the next round, with Mladost looking to build momentum and Dynamic aiming to sharpen their late-game decision-making.
