BC Nokia’s half-court offense relied heavily on isolation plays, which played into Peli Karhut’s hands. The hosts managed only 11 assists on 24 made baskets, while Peli Karhut dished out 18 assists, highlighting the difference in ball movement and shot quality.

Season Impact and Head-to-Head

BC Nokia drop to 2-3 and sit eighth, having now lost two of their last three home games. In the head-to-head series, Peli Karhut have now won two of the last three meetings, and this road win could prove significant come playoff seeding time. BC Nokia will need to improve their perimeter defense and rebounding if they are to climb the table.

Looking Ahead

Peli Karhut Women return home next week hoping to extend their winning streak, while BC Nokia Women face a difficult road trip against one of the league’s top sides. For Peli Karhut, this was a mature, disciplined performance — the kind that builds momentum in a long season.
