Albacomp Fehervar put on an offensive showcase on October 1, 2026, defeating Soproni KC 98-82 in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A. The hosts controlled the game with fast-paced basketball, efficient three-point shooting, and a deep bench that wore down the visitors over four quarters.

Match Overview

Albacomp Fehervar came out firing, pushing the tempo and finding open shooters early. Soproni KC tried to slow the game down and work through their half-court offense, but Fehervar’s defensive pressure made it difficult to settle into a rhythm. The first half featured plenty of scoring, yet the hosts consistently stayed a step ahead.

After halftime, Albacomp Fehervar extended their lead with a decisive third-quarter run. Their ball movement created open looks from beyond the arc, and their transition attack punished Soproni’s missed shots. Although Soproni KC competed until the final buzzer, the 16-point margin reflected Fehervar’s control on both ends of the floor.

Key Moments

• First-quarter spark: Albacomp Fehervar opened with quick ball movement and early three-pointers, setting the tone for a high-scoring night.
• Second-quarter pressure: The hosts forced several turnovers and converted them into fast-break points, building a double-digit advantage.
• Third-quarter knockout: Fehervar’s best stretch of the game came after halftime, when they combined lockdown defense with efficient outside shooting.
• Fourth-quarter finish: Soproni KC kept fighting, but Fehervar’s bench maintained the lead and closed out the win comfortably.

Tactical Breakdown

Albacomp Fehervar’s game plan was built on pace and space. They pushed the ball after every defensive rebound, looking to score before Soproni’s defense could set. In the half court, they used high pick-and-rolls to create driving lanes and kick-out opportunities. The result was a balanced scoring attack that featured contributions from the starting lineup and the bench.

Soproni KC had some success when they slowed the game and attacked the paint. Their forwards worked hard on the offensive glass, and their guards hit a few tough shots. However, they struggled to contain Fehervar’s perimeter shooters and gave up too many open looks in transition. Defensive consistency remains the key challenge for Soproni moving forward.

Standout Performances

Albacomp Fehervar’s guards controlled the game with sharp decision-making and accurate shooting. They repeatedly broke down Soproni’s defense off the dribble, either scoring at the rim or finding open teammates. The frontcourt also contributed valuable minutes, protecting the paint and finishing around the basket. Perhaps most impressively, Fehervar’s bench added energy and production, turning the game into a complete team effort.

For Soproni KC, the forward line was a bright spot. They competed on the boards and scored efficiently inside, while the backcourt showed flashes of creativity. Despite the loss, Soproni’s ability to keep scoring against a high-powered opponent offers something to build on in the coming rounds.

Season Impact

The win is an early statement for Albacomp Fehervar in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A, highlighting their offensive firepower and depth. The 98-point performance and plus-16 point differential could prove valuable in the standings race. Soproni KC leave with a loss but will take note of their interior success. Both teams will now prepare for their next league fixtures, with Fehervar looking to sustain their momentum and Soproni focusing on defensive improvements.
