Quarter scores: Rabotnicki 24-20-22-20 — 86; Euro Nickel 16-18-19-17 — 70.

Key Moments

The turning point came early in the third quarter. With Rabotnicki leading 46-36, Jovan Aleksandrovski stole the ball near midcourt and fed Nikola Karakolev for an emphatic alley-oop. That play ignited a 10-0 run that broke Euro Nickel’s resistance. Euro Nickel tried to respond with a full-court press, but Rabotnicki’s guards handled the pressure with poise, repeatedly finding open teammates for easy layups. A late three-pointer from Euro Nickel’s Dimitar Karadzovski cut the deficit to 16, but it was far too late.

Tactical Story

Rabotnicki’s game plan centered on controlling the paint and limiting second-chance opportunities. They out-rebounded Euro Nickel 45-32 and blocked six shots, deterring drives. Offensively, the hosts emphasized ball movement, finishing with 24 assists on 32 made field goals. Euro Nickel struggled against Rabotnicki’s half-court defense, settling for contested jumpers and shooting just 38% from the field. Their inability to generate stops in transition allowed Rabotnicki to dictate the pace throughout.

Standout Players

• Fersped Rabotnicki: Jovan Aleksandrovski paced the attack with 20 points and 6 assists. Nikola Karakolev recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while big man Marko Dujković added 12 points and 8 boards.
• Euro Nickel: Dimitar Karadzovski led the visitors with 16 points, but he received little help. Forward Stefan Krstajić chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds, while the rest of the roster combined for just 42 points on 36% shooting.

Season Impact

The win strengthens Rabotnicki’s position in the upper tier of the Macedonian First League standings and signals their intent to compete for a top seed. Euro Nickel, meanwhile, will need to address their offensive consistency and rebounding issues if they hope to climb the table. Both teams return to action next weekend, with Rabotnicki looking to build a winning streak and Euro Nickel searching for a bounce-back performance.
