Dinamo Bucuresti produced a strong home performance to defeat CSM Oradea 87-73 in the Liga Nationala de Baschet Masculin on 17 October 2026. The Bucharest side controlled long stretches of the contest and pulled away in the second half to secure a convincing double-digit victory.

Match Overview

The opening quarter was competitive, with CSM Oradea matching Dinamo's early intensity and keeping the deficit small. As the game progressed, however, Dinamo Bucuresti's defensive pressure and rebounding advantage began to tell, allowing the hosts to build a lead that they protected with maturity through the closing periods.

Key Moments

The decisive run arrived in the third quarter, when Dinamo turned defensive stops into fast-break points and stretched their advantage into double figures. CSM Oradea attempted to respond from beyond the arc, but a series of missed attempts and turnovers allowed the hosts to keep the momentum. Dinamo's control of the offensive glass in the second half ensured Oradea had few chances to cut the lead.

Standout Performers

Dinamo's guards dictated the tempo and found open shooters with regularity, while their big men protected the paint and finished efficiently around the rim. CSM Oradea's brightest moments came from individual scoring efforts, but the team lacked the collective rhythm needed to mount a sustained comeback in the fourth quarter.

Season Impact

The result is an important one in the Liga Nationala de Baschet Masculin standings, reinforcing Dinamo Bucuresti's home strength and handing CSM Oradea a road defeat to learn from. Dinamo will take confidence from the balanced scoring and defensive discipline, while Oradea will focus on reducing turnovers and improving their rebounding ahead of their next outing.
