• Quarter scores: Politehnica 10-30, 12-24, 8-26, 8-24 LMK
• Half-time: Politehnica Timisoara Women 22-54 LMK SBC SF. Gheorghe Women
• Final: Politehnica Timisoara Women 38-104 LMK SBC SF. Gheorghe Women

The 66-point final margin told the story of the night. LMK controlled the glass, forced turnovers and converted nearly every momentum shift into quick points at the other end.

Key Moments

The opening quarter effectively set the direction of the game. LMK raced into a double-digit lead with a combination of steals, fast breaks and open three-point looks. Politehnica called timeout, but the pressure continued.

The second and third quarters brought further separation. LMK’s bench maintained the same intensity as the starters, and the visitors continued to move the ball unselfishly. Politehnica’s scoring droughts became longer as the game wore on.

Tactical Story

LMK’s full-court defense was the foundation of the win. The visitors denied easy entry passes, trapped ball handlers and turned defensive stops into transition opportunities. On offense, they attacked the basket early before settling into comfortable perimeter shooting.

Politehnica Timisoara Women struggled to protect the ball and could not generate enough second-chance points to slow the run. When LMK switched defenses, the hosts were unable to adjust quickly enough.

Standout Performers

LMK SBC SF. Gheorghe Women produced a balanced offensive effort, with contributions from the starting lineup and the bench. The team’s guard play controlled the tempo, while the interior players dominated the boards and protected the rim.

Politehnica’s players kept working defensively, but the offensive execution was disrupted throughout. The hosts’ best stretches came in brief bursts, not long enough to change the course of the game.

Season Impact

The result gives LMK a major confidence boost and a significant advantage in point differential. A 104-38 road win sends a clear message about their scoring depth and defensive potential in the Liga Nationala de Baschet Feminin.

Politehnica Timisoara Women will need to regroup quickly, particularly on ball security and rebounding. LMK, meanwhile, will aim to maintain the same level of intensity after a performance that ranked among the most complete of the season.
