Cholet Secure Road Win at Nancy

Cholet claimed an 85–76 victory over Nancy in the Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro A, producing a balanced offensive display that proved too much for their hosts. The visitors controlled the middle stretches of the game and held off a Nancy rally to secure an important road result in France's top division.

Game Overview

Nancy started with intent, using their home advantage to push the tempo early. But Cholet's disciplined half-court defense gradually took the sting out of the Nancy attack, and their own offense found rhythm through smart ball movement and efficient shot selection. By the third quarter, Cholet had built a working margin that they managed intelligently down the stretch.

How Cholet Won It

• Balanced scoring: Multiple contributors kept the offense unpredictable.
• Defensive rebounding: Limiting Nancy's second-chance points proved crucial.
• Poise under pressure: Cholet answered every Nancy run with a composed possession.

Standout Performances

Cholet's guards dictated the flow, picking apart Nancy's defense with penetration and kick-outs, while their forwards controlled the paint. Nancy fought hard and had strong individual showings, particularly from their perimeter scorers, but the team's defensive consistency wavered at key moments.

Season Impact

This result boosts Cholet's standing in the Betclic Élite (Pro A) table and highlights their ability to perform on the road against a competitive Nancy side. Nancy will look to tighten their defense and improve their execution in close games as the season progresses.
