Paris Basketball delivered a road statement with a 96-75 victory over Chorale Roanne in Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro A on October 25, 2026. Paris controlled the game after a fast start and never allowed Roanne to build sustained momentum, turning a competitive first quarter into a convincing 21-point win.

Match overview

Paris opened the game with intent, pushing the pace and attacking Roanne’s defense before it could organize. The visitors led 28-19 after the first quarter and stretched the advantage to 52-38 by halftime. Roanne had brief positive spells, particularly when its guards found space in transition, but Paris consistently answered with timely three-pointers and strong interior finishing.

The third quarter put the result beyond doubt. Paris opened with a 10-2 run and pushed the lead to 20 points. Roanne tried to respond with a more aggressive defensive approach, but Paris’s ball movement and depth proved too much. The visitors led 75-56 entering the final period and maintained control through the closing minutes.

Key moments

The decisive moment came early in the third quarter. Roanne had trimmed the deficit to 12 just before halftime, but Paris opened the second half with a three-pointer, a fast-break layup, and an offensive rebound putback. That quick six-point burst forced a Roanne timeout and set the tone for the rest of the game.

Another important sequence arrived midway through the fourth, when Roanne attempted to press and create turnovers. Paris broke the pressure repeatedly, finding open shooters and finishing at the rim. The visitors’ composure under pressure ended any hope of a late Roanne comeback.

Tactical story

Paris’s offensive efficiency was the standout feature of the performance. The visitors shot well from beyond the arc and attacked the paint when Roanne’s defense overextended. Their ball movement created open looks, and their guards consistently made the right decisions in pick-and-roll situations. Paris also dominated the fast-break battle, scoring easy points off long rebounds and turnovers.

Defensively, Paris limited Roanne’s best scorers and forced difficult shots. The visitors switched effectively on screens and protected the rim when Roanne tried to drive. Roanne’s offense became too reliant on individual plays, and Paris’s depth allowed the visitors to maintain intensity even when the bench entered the game.

Standout performers

• Noah Bamba led Paris with 23 points, attacking the basket aggressively and knocking down key perimeter shots.
• Léo Fournier added 18 points and seven assists, controlling the tempo and breaking Roanne’s pressure defense.
• Ismaël Konaté provided 13 points and eight rebounds, giving Paris a strong presence inside.
• Yanis Perrin was Roanne’s top scorer with 17 points, but he received limited support from the bench.

Season impact

The 96-75 win is a significant result for Paris Basketball in the Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro A standings. A road victory of this margin reinforces their credentials as a team capable of competing near the top of the table. The balanced scoring and defensive control will be particularly encouraging. For Chorale Roanne, the defeat highlights the need for greater offensive consistency and better ball security against high-pressure teams. Paris will look to carry the momentum forward, while Roanne must correct their defensive rotations before the next round.
