When the game slowed down, Neptunas used ball screens to create driving lanes and kick-out opportunities, finishing with 14 made three-pointers.

Siauliai tried to counter with post-ups and mid-range jumpers, but the visitors struggled to match Neptunas on the boards. Neptunas’ offensive rebounding created second-chance points and kept pressure on the Siauliai defense. Defensively, the hosts were active in passing lanes and limited easy looks in the second half.

Standout performers

Neptunas’ backcourt controlled the rhythm of the game, combining for efficient shooting and a high assist count. The frontcourt dominated the glass and provided a steady interior presence, while the bench added energy in the second and fourth quarters. It was a collective performance that highlighted the team’s depth.

Siauliai’s leading scorer finished with 22 points and kept the visitors within range during the first half, but support was inconsistent. The visitors also struggled with turnovers in the third quarter, which allowed Neptunas to turn a modest lead into a decisive advantage.

Season impact

The win gives Neptunas important momentum in the LKL standings and reinforces its home-court strength. The 110-point output is a strong signal for the team’s offensive potential, particularly if the bench continues to contribute at this level. For Siauliai, the focus will be on defensive consistency and rebounding discipline after a difficult road trip.
