ADA Blois delivered one of the most statement-making road performances of the early Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro B season, overwhelming Entente Orléanaise 103-80 on October 21, 2026. The visitors controlled the game from the first quarter, pushed the tempo at every opportunity, and never allowed Orléans to settle into a comfortable half-court rhythm.

The 23-point margin reflected Blois’ superiority on both ends. Orléans had moments of energy from the home crowd, but Blois answered nearly every run with a faster counterattack or an open three-pointer. By the fourth quarter, the result was no longer in serious doubt.

Match overview

Blois set the tone with a high-scoring first quarter and extended the lead before halftime. Orléans struggled to contain dribble penetration, which forced the defense to rotate and created open shooting lanes. The second half followed a similar pattern, with Blois maintaining control and gradually pulling away.

Key moments

Blois broke the game open with a 12-0 run in the first half, turning a tight opening into a double-digit lead. Orléans briefly threatened in the third quarter, cutting the deficit with a flurry of baskets, but Blois responded immediately with back-to-back three-pointers and a transition dunk that restored the momentum.

The decisive blow came early in the fourth. Blois opened the period with a 10-2 surge, pushing the lead beyond 20 points and forcing Orléans to chase the game. From there, the visitors managed the clock well and kept the hosts at arm’s length.

Tactical story

Blois’ transition offense was the story of the night. The visitors rebounded aggressively and looked to run whenever possible, often beating Orléans down the floor for easy baskets. When the game slowed down, Blois still generated quality looks through ball movement and dribble handoffs.

Orléans, by contrast, struggled with turnovers and allowed too many second-chance points. The home side’s half-court offense was too reliant on individual plays, and Blois’ switching defense made it difficult to find clean post entries. Orléans also shot poorly from the free-throw line in the second half, which prevented any realistic comeback.

Standout performers

Blois received a strong all-around performance from its backcourt, which controlled tempo and knocked down timely shots. The bench also made a major impact, providing energy and scoring during the decisive runs. Orléans had a few bright individual moments, but the team lacked the collective consistency needed to match Blois’ firepower.

Season impact

The win is a significant confidence booster for ADA Blois and an early warning to the rest of Pro B about the team’s offensive potential. A 103-point road performance in France’s second tier is a clear statement of intent. For Entente Orléanaise, the loss highlights areas that need immediate attention: transition defense, ball security, and rebounding discipline.

Orléans will need to regroup quickly, while Blois will aim to carry the same pace and defensive energy into its next fixture. In a league where home advantage is often crucial, a road win of this magnitude can be worth more than just one victory in the standings.
