Triglav Women produced a dominant home performance in the Liga Nova KBM Women on October 15, 2026, beating Jezica Women 76-53 in a game they controlled comfortably from the second quarter onward. The 23-point margin reflects a night on which the hosts were sharper on both ends of the floor.

Match Overview

The first quarter was competitive, with Jezica Women matching their hosts basket for basket and keeping the game level through the opening eight minutes. Triglav Women gradually imposed their physicality, however, and a strong close to the first period gave them a lead they would hold for the remainder of the contest.

How the Game Unfolded

The second quarter was where the game broke open. Triglav Women tightened their defense, closed down driving lanes, and forced Jezica into a series of difficult, late-shot-clock attempts. On the offensive end, the hosts moved the ball quickly and attacked the basket with purpose, drawing fouls and converting at the free-throw line. A 13-2 run midway through the period stretched the lead into double digits, and Jezica never recovered.

• First quarter: Tight and even, Triglav edge ahead late
• Second quarter: A 13-2 run turns a close game into a comfortable lead
• Third quarter: Triglav extend to 20+ with a balanced scoring attack
• Fourth quarter: Bench players see extended minutes as the result is secured

Tactical Story

Triglav Women's advantage started on the defensive glass. By limiting second-chance opportunities, they forced Jezica to score against a set defense every time down the floor — a difficult task against a team this well organized. Their help defense was also excellent, arriving quickly on drives and forcing kick-out passes that led to contested perimeter shots.

Offensively, Triglav were patient and unselfish. They rarely settled for the first available shot, instead probing the defense and working the ball into high-percentage areas. Their inside-out game created open looks from beyond the arc and opened up cutting lanes that Jezica struggled to track.

Standout Performers

Triglav Women's leading scorer was efficient and aggressive, finishing strongly at the rim and drawing contact consistently. Their point guard controlled the tempo beautifully, delivering assists while limiting turnovers, and a versatile forward contributed across the stat sheet with rebounds, steals, and timely scoring. The bench preserved the intensity in the fourth quarter, a sign of good depth.

For Jezica Women, it was a difficult evening. Their shooting guard battled throughout and was the most consistent offensive threat, and their center competed hard on the boards despite being outsized at times. The team's struggles came from turnovers and cold shooting stretches — particularly in the second quarter, when the game slipped away.

League Context

A 23-point home victory is a strong statement in the Liga Nova KBM Women. It improves Triglav Women's standing in the table, strengthens their points differential, and builds momentum heading into a demanding stretch of fixtures. For Jezica Women, the priority now is to reset quickly: protecting home court in the coming rounds will be essential if they are to remain in the playoff picture.

Games like this often define a season's trajectory, and Triglav Women will be encouraged by both the margin and the manner of the win.
